(Travels) Taiwan International Flora Expo
Dec 16th
To kickstart a new series of photographs from my travels, we have the kawaii GSC Nendo Gumako who will be the main Nendo featured in my Taiwan Travels! She is an easily posed nendo due to the support that her twin tails provide. I gotta say that her white outfit is really lovely but sucks much as it gets dirty real fast. ~_~
First day in Taiwan and we visited the remnants of the 2010 Taipei International Flora Exposition (2010 Flora Expo). The weather was nice and cool (around 16-17 degrees) but the sky was overcast and threatened to rain.
Some flowers were potted and coiffed…

…while others were left to florish in large sprawling patches of earth.

Much like a secret garden for nendos.

More coming soon!
(Dailybits) m3/4 camera mount EOS adaptor
Dec 12th

I’m back from Taiwan~! It’s was super fun trip filled with lotsa shopping and eating.
This shot of Rin is pretty special as it’s one of the first few test shots from my ‘upgraded’ m3/4 camera. I usually use a Panasonic GF-1 with its pancake lens. It has served me very well and I really like how the pictures turn out. However, compatible m3/4 lens are pretty pricey and I don’t have anyone other comrades using the same setup. :/ Thankfully, there is a range of m3/4 mount adaptors and i got hold of one during this trip to Taiwan.
It basically allows me to use Canon EOS lens on my m3/4 camera~!! The effect is super awesome! The pic above is an unedited image (except for the signature thingie) taken using the adapter combined with a Canon 35mm Prime lens. The downside of using an adaptor is because it only works on manual focus and has a fixed aperture (it uses the lowest aperture of the lens). There are adaptors that allow for auto focusing but they cost more monnies.
Been greatly motivated by the comrades from WLNF and took lotsa nendo pictures from Taiwan. Gonna try to go through them and post some of the interesting shots here. So stay tune!
